GATFire is a family run business that designs, supplies and expertly installs beautiful high quality eco-friendly log burners, wood burning stoves and multi fuel stoves at incredibly low prices. We were established sixteen years ago and have now grown into one of the country’s largest supplier & installer of solid fuel burning of stoves. We have built our reputation by offering the highest quality stoves expertly installed at truly affordable prices. We specialise in wood burning and multi fuel burning stoves, so we do not offer gas, electric or bio fuel stoves.
We are proud that we can supply a high quality modern Ecodesign and DEFRA approved (for smokeless areas) wood burning and multi fuel stove, all of the installation accessories that are normally required to install a stove and installation by one of our teams of HETAS and OFTEC registered teams of engineers for only £999 +vat. We offer a selection of over 200 solid fuel burning stoves at incredibly low prices. Our prices start at only £999 +vat fully installed and range to over £5,000 for some of our luxury designer stoves. We offer a huge selection of stoves, but if we don’t stock the stove you require, we can usually supply & install any stove available in the UK for considerably less than if you bought your stove separately.
We are able to offer such incredibly low prices because we spend very little on advertising with over 80% of our new customers coming to us because previous customers have recommended them. We are also fortunate to own our 6,000 square foot warehouse site and showroom, so we do not need to pay expensive rent. Our large warehouse capacity and two showrooms enables us to buy in bulk from stove manufacturers and stove installation accessory makers at substantially discounted prices. We share the benefits of our low overheads and the savings we make buying in bulk with our customers by offering them incredibly low prices.
GATFire is fully HETAS, OFTEC, SiA and ICO registered. HETAS and OFTEC are the only organisations in the UK that can legally certify the safety of the installation of a solid fuel burning stove. The SiA (Stove Industry Association) is a trade organisation which keeps manufacturers and installers of stoves aware of the latest improvements in technology that can benefit consumers. The ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) regulates Data Protection to ensure consumer’s personal information is kept safe and secure. We are aware of no other supplier & installer of solid fuel burning stoves with more comprehensive registration credentials.
We specialise in wood burning stoves, log burners and multi fuel burning stoves, so we do not offer gas, electric or bioethanol stoves. During the last fifteen years GATFire has designed and installed thousands of stoves and fireplaces. Our extensive industry experience has enabled us to accumulate the wealth of knowledge necessary to successfully tackle even the most challenging of installations. Our previous installations have included locations as diverse as five storey townhouses, listed buildings, corporate head offices, restaurants, first class airport lounges and several stately homes.
Our showrooms are in Essex and Kent enable us to serve London and most of South East England. We can design, supply and install all types of solid fuel burning stoves, fireplaces, mantles and hearths. We can also create, repair, or enhance your existing fireplace or chimney as part of our installation service.
Our showrooms in Essex and Kent have a wide range of log burners, wood burning and multifuel stoves on display. We normally have available over a hundred different stoves, but if we do not stock the particular stove you want, we can usually obtain any stove available in the UK it within a few days. Our friendly knowledgeable staff are available to answer all of your questions regarding regulations, fuel types, the latest stove technologies, stove efficiency, the installation process and to help you design your ideal fireplace.

Our experienced teams of HETAS and OFTEC registered engineers will carefully install your new fire to ensure it operates at optimum efficiency. They will then test your new stove, issue a certificate of compliance and then register your certificate with your Local Authority to comply with building regulations. Our installation engineers are committed to ensuring your installation is completely hassle free and meets or even exceeds your expectations.
We pride ourselves in the quality of service we provide, so all of our stove installations are covered by our 6 year workmanship warranty and our Public liability insurance which provides cover of up five million pounds. We also provide a truly comprehensive after sales service, so whether your stove was installed fourteen days or fourteen years ago we will still be available to answer questions and provide free advice for many years.
