Wood Burning Stove, Multi Fuel Stove & Log Burner Installation

GATFire is England’s largest HETAS and OFTEC registered supplier & installer of wood burning stoves, multi fuel stoves, wood burners, fire stoves, fire places and log burners. Our family run business has been providing customers with an outstanding service and exceptional value for money for over 15 years.

Our Essex and Kent based showrooms allow our teams of very experienced HETAS and OFTEC registered stove installation engineers to serve London and most of South & East England.

Our teams of stove installation engineers have fitted thousands of stoves in locations as diverse as five storey townhouses, thatched roof listed buildings, garden offices, corporate head offices, celebrity mansions, first class airport lounges and several stately homes.

We understand some people have already bought their stove and need it installed by HETAS or OFTEC registered installers, so that they do not invalidate their home insurance and incur a fine of up to £5,000 for breaking Building Regulations. Therefore, we offer the choice of three different stove installation only services:

Stove Installation with the customer suppling their own installation accessories from only £495 +vat (£594 including vat)

Stove Installation including all installation accessories for properties with chimneys from only £845 +vat (£1,014 including vat)

Stove Installation including all installation accessories for properties without chimneys from only £1,495 +vat (£1,794 including vat)

All of our Stove Installation options include installation of your stove by one of our teams of HETAS and OFTEC registered engineers, test firing the stove, issuing a HETAS or OFTEC certificate of compliance, registering your certificate with your councils Building Regulations department, removing all debris and a 6 year workmanship warranty.

Our "Stove Installation including all installation accessories" options also include all of the installation accessories normally required to install your stove: a vitreous enamel stove flue pipe, a steel register closure plate, a stainless steel connector or adaptor, a high quality flexible stainless steel chimney flue liner (or a twin wall flue system for properties without chimneys), all fire proof sealants, chimney clamps, flue clamps, a top plate, a stainless steel rain cowl and various other specialist consumables. Please note that many online companies "installation kits" can be a false economy as they only include a low quality generic stove flue pipe, register plate, flexible chimney flue liner and rain cowl.

Our stove installation service can also include the supply and installation of all types of fireplaces, surrounds, beams, shelves, mantles, hearths and repairing or modifying your existing fireplace or chimney at very reasonable prices.

If you have not yet bought your stove, buying a stove online may appear a cheaper option, but this is seldom the case. Buying your stove from the same company that will be installing it can save you a considerable amount of time, stress and money.

Buying a reasonable quality stove online will cost at least £400, buying all of the installation accessories normally required to install a stove will cost around £400 and most HETAS or OFTEC registered installers will charge at least £1,000 (£400 + £400 + £1,000) = £1,800. However, we can supply a choice of high quality EcoDesign DEFRA approved leading brand multi fuel & wood burning stoves (RRP £699), all of the installation accessories normally required to install a stove and provide full installation by one of our teams of HETAS & OFTEC registered engineers for only £999 +vat = £1,198.80 (saving over £600).

We offer a huge selection of over 200 different Stove Packages featuring only leading brand stoves at true value for money prices. Our supplied & installed Stove Package prices range from only £999 to over £5000 +vat for some of our luxury designer stoves. You can view all of our Stove Package prices in our Prices page.

If your stove is not installed by a HETAS or OFTEC registered engineer you will need to pay up to £450 to your council to apply for Building Regulations approval before your stove is installed. However, failing to use a HETAS or OFTEC registered installer can still invalidate your home insurance and you could experience problems selling your property in the future.

Choosing the right stove installer is just as important as choosing the right stove, you can read about the dangers of choosing the wrong stove installer in 10 Rules for Buying a Wood Burning or Multi Fuel Stove.

We are England’s most experienced HETAS and OFTEC registered supplier & installer of wood burning stoves, multi fuel stoves, wood burners, fire stoves, fire places and log burners. We have spent over 15 years maintaining our reputation for offering exceptional value for money and a truly outstanding service.
